Red Vine Hops

Red Vine Hops

We are excited about this hidden jem that we are growing right here at The Hop House. This unique Canadian Hop is not to be used for bittering because of its low Alpha acid. However used in late stage boil or dry hoping can give a distinct cherry note. It is unlike any hop on the market. If you are planning on using this hop in your brew, make sure you start off with a Chinook or Nugget to achieve that initial bitterness. Again this hop is for Aroma and flavour only. This hop will give a light citrus, grapefruit and deep pine flavour along with cherry. Red Vine Hops are a good choice for Pale Ales, IPA's, Red Ales, Canadian Porters and French Porters.
Substitute Hops: Newport, Magnum & Galena.
